Ronda Sternhagen"Balancing graduate school, teaching and a family is no easy task. Financial support in the form of the Graduate Student Opportunity Fund and a tuition scholarship for my research hours have made my graduate program a little less stressful on the family pocket book. These opportunities are avenues for giving back to my profession as an art educator. " - Ronda Sternhagen, M.A. Art Education, December 2009

Graduate education is an integral facet of the University of Northern Iowa community. Thirteen percent of the students at UNI are graduate students. UNI and its faculty are internationally recognized for outstanding teaching, distinguished research and service to the professions and to the worldwide community.

Graduate education at UNI provides students with amazing, life-changing opportunities--it prepares them to be leaders in their chosen profession, but more importantly it impacts the way they view and live in the world. View recent student and faculty accomplishments, profiles and events and services in The Graffito, UNI's online graduate student newsletter at www.grad.uni.edu/graffito.
