Economic Impact:

UNI's Partnership with the Cedar Valley

The Cedar Valley is a great place for the University of Northern Iowa to call home.

People here value higher education.  They enthusiastically participate in UNI's arts, sports and cultural events.  Cedar Valley businesses, schools and community organizations help prepare UNI students for satisfying and successful careers.  Cedar Valley communities give UNI faculty, staff and students healthy, attractive and caring places to live.

So, we're proud that the University of Northern Iowa -- our students, faculty and staff - are contributing to the educational, cultural and economic life of this community in many ways.  Specifically, UNI provides:

These numbers will continue to grow as UNI expands its facilities with the introduction of the McLeod Center.

Future of the Dome
