The following community leaders have pledged their time and financial resources to ensure the success of Students First, the campaign for the University of Northern Iowa.

Chair - As chairperson of the Cedar Valley Leadership and Major Gift Drives, Rick Young is leading a group of 43 dedicated volunteers who are encouraging community investments in the Students First Campaign. His outstanding leadership and public endorsements of the campaign have provided the awareness and momentum necessary to achieve success in the Cedar Valley.

Leadership Advisory Council -This stellar group of volunteers began its work in March of 2001. Their goal is to encourage investments of $100,000 or more in the University's Students First Campaign, with a special focus on meeting the $2 million McElroy challenge grant for McLeod Center.

Cedar Valley Major Gift Drive Team Captains - On September 24, 2001 the University of Northern Iowa kicked off the Students First Major Gift Drive. The team captains and 60 volunteers under their direction were the driving force behind this historic local fundraising effort.
