The University of Northern Iowa encourages faculty and staff to seek
external funds to support projects and programs. Requests for external
funds are handled by two University offices:
*The
Development Office: deals with requests to private sources, including
businesses and individuals.
*The
Office of Sponsored Research: deals with grant and fellowship
requests to federal and state agencies, foundations and to scholarly
associations and with contracts from all sources.
All requests for funding to support projects, programs,
research, scholarship or other activities of the University must be
made through the Office
of Sponsored Research.
The University of Northern Iowa subscribes to the services of Grants
